Southern Florida Guide Services

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Southern Florida Guide Services

Post by Popr »

Hi Erevyone,

My wife and I will be heading to Florida in March and I may be able to go bass fishing. We will be in the Port St. Lucie area. Just thought I would inquire about guided fishing in Southern Florida. Any recommendations on guides/guiding services and lakes that you would recommend.

Also, I would like to say thank you for all those that gave advice on fishing the Big Rideau. It is such a beautiful lake.

While you are down there, check out the Atlantic Ocean. Stuart Florida has some good fishing in the gulf stream about 5 miles out.....this is the closest the gulf stream comes to N America. Capt Ed Smith took me out one time and we had a blast. Lots of mahi mahi. Note, there was a fatal shark attack there last week.
