We decided to go out after school on friday for a couple hours of walleye.

The evening started off with a minnow for walleye man... Oh wait that's a sauger.

Then a walleye about the same size.

Then I show Chevy how it's done.

After a few more small 'eyes Chevy hooks into something respectable.

After that we decided to call it a night.
On saturday night Chevy texts me and tells me we're going fishing tomorrow and that I should pick him up at the launch at 6... Fine

The day started off well with an 'eye within the first 10 minutes if trolling.

Unfortunetly that was it for the morning.
After I dropped Chevy at the launch and I got home I decided to take a couple cast off my dock...
While messing around with a jig next to the dock a nice pike comes out from under it and smashes my jig.

I got it into the cradle, unhooked it, measure it (36 inches), and as I was about to lift it up to get a pic... It thrashes, falls back in the water, and swims away.

I did get a pic of it but it's not a great one.

We once again got out for a few hours after school on Tuesday.
My night started off with a nice little 'eye.

And another...

And another...

And another...

And another...

So at this point Chevy's getting a little PO'd

But a double header cheers him up a bit.

After a couple cats we decided to try bottom bouncing another spot.
About 5 minutes into the trolling something SMOKES my line.

After the big headshakes I had a feeling of what I had on...
Another decent cat.

After that we decided to head in.
Hope you enjoyed the report!
