Hi I am new to the website. Could anyone give me some information on where to fish perch, bass and walleye on the St.Lawrence near Rockport and the Thousand Island Bridge? I am new to fishing on the river. Any tips would be really appreciated.
Thanks

Can't say I know the river all that well, but done pretty well on jumbo perch earlier in the summer just east of Gan - 10-20 fow, sand bottoms. Lots of pike in the weeds there.
Bass are everywhere on the river, I catch lots of smallies out of rockport looking for walleyes while trolling stickbaits and worm harnesses....if you can find a low wind day you might have luck drop shotting or bouncing tubes on rocky points in the main channel. Largies are in the slack water of the bays where you'd expect but I can't say I've had much luck on them.
My best tip for the river is to cover water...troll around till you find some fish then stop and fish them. They never seem to be in the same spot 2 weeks in a row out there. Good luck and make sure to post up your results!
