Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.
If so, how do you like it? It is something I have been toying with buying lately, I just seem to like the stock colour better. And does the clear side plate flex at all?
I also love the looks of the td-Ito 103 you have there and they still command a good amount of money...

Thanks for sharing!

I no longer use the aluminum knobs for baitcast, they look good but aren't really comfortable. I now use them on my spinning reels only! The megabass zaoin knobs are the worst!! Useless, must be changed.
It is an Ito Alphas, the reel is solid, just harder to maintain as sometimes braid bleed off gets into the clear plate and you need to clean it more often. I haven't noticed any flexing at all.
The TD-Ito is a beauty...i changed the spool because the original Type R spool spins way to fast for casting.

I would not have thought about the braid bleed off. How about the polished aluminum finish? Does it take a lot of cleaning to keep it looking that prestine?
And my big question... Is the td-Ito worth what you pay for it used? I ask because it goes for over $300.00 and is a couple of years old now. Is there a reel it campares to on the market today?
Their looks alone make me want one but it would be great to have an idea how they work or what you would/are using it for.
thems be some beautys for sure!
quick question for ya gear junkies
