Re: BOVT PICTURES!!
Well horrible night with the camera as most of the pictures I thought I took I was apparently not taking. Best of the evening wasn't much bigger - only 14" but very fat.
This one was the only one that turned out - probably would have been good eating.
Any tips / hints for photo's would be great.
I generally have no room either in the canoe or onshore in the dark.
Like this one. NO peeking at the tackle!! (j/k... always willing to share)

Caught on the shores of the Mighty Mississippi River!

Ah ha! Top water bugs eh? Totally going to copy you and fish the Miss dry.
Jokes. It can be tough to get picks of a flopping bass in the canoe for sure. If you can get a 1x4 board or similar and glue a measuring tape to it, works great. I also keep my thumb in the mouth and lay it down, seems that the bass flop less when you have a grip on them.
Still awkward holding the fish down with one hand and trying to take a pic with the other, I know. As long as you get the fish next to the tape and the pic shows where the measurement starts and ends, I think that should be fine.

I also find it hard to take the photos with only one person. I really make sure I have the tape out on flat ground before I start fishing so at least that part is easier.MichaelGA wrote: Any tips / hints for photo's would be great.

Re: BOVT PICTURES!!
Too be honest guys and gals the biggest thing I need is the tape measure clear and able to be seen as well as the ID code. If you are not able to get a picture of you holding it then I will accept just the tape measure shot.
It was just a way of getting a face to a name really!!.

Re: BOVT PICTURES!!
Well who knew shore fishing was this awesome! After landing a nice two lb Smallie, I caught this lovely beast.
Note my broken tape starts at 3cm. So 52 - 3 = 49 inches of fishy-goodness.

Nice work all!
Same here trying to take photos alone. hehe
Caught a nice one from the shore as well, 18,5 inches, for my first big bass ever... Pics to come after development... yes, development.
I'm hoping the pics are good enough!
