A different kind of story, a short one but long overdue in the making. Recently sifting through some old reports and pictures, in the past week when my wife Brenda booked two future fishing trips for us, I became a little more inspired to get this done. A lucky man to have found someone in life who not only supports (or puts up with) the crazy passion that is fishing, but also joins me whenever possible. And what’s also incredible is her genuine enjoyment of the outdoors, catching the BIG fish and always staying positive through any hooks in the head and snow on her bed. Found a great partner for life and looking back it amazes me the fine fishing she has done. This story is all the “Misses Fishes.” Read on if you like...

That's awesome Bunk. My Mrs fishes with me once or twice per species, and enjoys it... except ice fishing. It's good.
Great pics, but one pic in particular stood out in your report. Incredible.

Last summer Bren worked OT up north through three weeks of her regular paid holidays to save up some $$$ cause she tells me she's not done with chasing Tree River char yet. She's got "her" half saved up. That tells ya something right there tho!
Kind of ya! Thank you sir!ShawnD wrote:As per usual, awesome report and those pictures are stunning

Two of my bucket list fish. Char and Gar.
Don't give a damn about the size of the Char, just want to catch a brilliantly scarlet colored fish.
Great story as always, thanks for sharing Bunk,
Steve

Re: "MISSES FISHES." Story & Pics
Not an easy task for many reasons Steve. Hoping in future summers to find more and more options that do not require a need for expensive outfitting. Catching "red" char usually requires such remoteness that it does though. Silvers... that's a "little" easier. Get in touch with me when you're ready to make it happen. Can maybe help.DropShot’r wrote:Don't give a damn about the size of the Char, just want to catch a brilliantly scarlet colored fish.
That's never happened! Well, maybe once or twice. She's caught some real crackers. Hoping she enjoys several new P.B. piggies this season.scuro wrote:The post needed a pic of Bunk pouting while Brenda scored the biggest fish again!
