I've been there once in a smaller tin boat a few years back. depending on what type of boat you are launching, you could be alright. The launch was pretty good but it was in a creek and I would think a larger boat (anything over an 18 footer), may have issues because of the width of the creek.

As for if it's busy, we went in the fall so I cannot help you there. It was very scenic though.
