Catharine Lake questions

Hi gang,

My parents have rented a cottage on Catharine Lake (just south of the Ottawa River) near Renfrew in a couple of weeks and I was looking forward to have my kids (8 and 4) enjoy a little bit of fishing with me.

I see that it is quite a small lake and I probably expect to see bass and pike in there but I was wondering if anyone has any tips or advice for me (PM is great if you prefer)
