Most have come off of NK28s Chart/Green with glow tape. Also a tight zig zag troll causes the spoons to fall/fluter and most hits come on the fall.Hoss wrote:Hey Eyetracker, there is one thing that I haven't really heard of..........spoons for walleye....the good thing is that I have quite a few more of those than the big body baits. I was wondering what type of spoons you have success with............little cleos, cyclops, or salmon type spoons? I've got downriggers so getting them down is not a problem.
Thanks in advance.........Hoss
Also Salmon, Lakers, Browns and Rainbows are in the North Channel near the village of Bath....so you never know what you are going to catch

I like to troll fast 2-3.5 mph so I can cover lots of water, so I choose to use spoons over spinner rigs for the walleye. I also always fish east of Glenora Ferry so I have 2 rods per angler in the water.turkeyman wrote:markus

If you are slow trolling structure and weedlines in the Bay of Quinte the spinner rigs work great. The Uzick Spinner's are tested and produce fish.
Ah...walleye fishing, get ready to try everything in the tackle box -- Fast -- Slow -- Big -- Small -- Live Bait -- Cranks. They all work but when?
Lets' go get em...
