Lookig for a place to ice fish near Wakefield Quebec

Hi Guys
I'm heading up to Wakefied , Quebec next week to visit a friend . I suggested we go ice fishing and I'm having a hard time finding a place to go . Anybody know of some place ?

Hey Hound,

although I've never gone there to fish in the winter, I'd be shocked if you didn't find shacks along the Gatineau there somewhere, which should give you an idea of where to go at least

how far are you willing to drive hound?? if im correct ottawa is olny 45 minutes from wakefield. there are lots of great spots on the ottawa!

There a lake call wolf lake about 15 min frome ther past masham,,,there some pike in there,,,,,,,,there are some small lake nere masham that do have some nice pike ,you could ask the local guyssss over there ,,sher they will tell you some spot

but whatch out on the gatineau river in wakefield,there is a alot off current
the ice could be dangerous

,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but still there is some nice walley in there,,,,,,,,

there not mutch cabin or ice fishing over there,,,dont no why ,,there so mutch walley there,,,,caught alot nere paugan falls,,,,,,,,,,nere low quebec

dont know much of that area but is there not a lake right in wakefield?
