Your biggest Walleye

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

That muskie is likely way undersized, and could fetch you a hefty fine! The proof is in your own picture :!:

That is a beautiful Walleye Steven.

I can see we are gonna get off topic pretty quick here....but I am curious as to what if any size restrictions there are in PQ? Fishing in PQ is pretty foriegn to me and I'm interested in giving it a try.

I guess if you're gonna eat a musky, a smaller one like that would be the choice size.

Actually, I'm really enjoying this thread and I'm looking forward to hearing more about everyone's big walleye.

If you have a question for steven, please send him a PM.

In the meantime, I'd like to ask Steven (if he has time) to maybe start a new thread with a few details about PQ reg's with reference to size restrictions and limits. And maybe a little info about the "local" insight with regards to muskie consumption in your area.

We are all use to the restrictions and values we empose on ourselfs and others here in Ontario and I think it would be educational and interesting to hear and learn a little bit about Quebec's views and practices.

Opening at Quinte last year 7.5 lbs.

I consider that big in my books. Then again that was my first big water experience and I have to go again.

Markus: lots of great places in PQ to fish...

Yep....had something on last year ripping line off my spool like I'd hooked on to a submarine. Tightened the drag to slow it down to the point where the snap opened up and I lost it. Never did get to see what it was. Yay PP......boo cheap snaps.
