Salmon anglers around Jordan/PW/PTD be careful

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Salmon anglers around Jordan/PW/PTD be careful

Post by steve-hamilton »

My tackle box was stolen out of my boat this morning, while i was in the tim hortons beside jordan harbour.

it was obviously a salmon angler, one we probably see at the launches.

this is just a reminder that thieves are everywhere!

ruined my day for me....

looking at a 1200 dollar insurance claim.

That sucks Steve

Sometimes I wish other fishermen could be more like golfers....you can leave your clubs outside the pro shop forever while you eat or drink and nobody ever touches them...kind of a respect thing.

The guy was probably following this board and saw your pics from earlier in the week and figured that was the easiest way to get the right gear

Anyway I hope you see this guy at the ramp in the near future

steve,

Sorry about your misfortune. I just don't get people that steal -- how they can stoop so low without any conscience is beyond understanding.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Wouldn't you just love to catch the guy walking away with your tackle box. Thats what scum like this guy needs ,,,, a good beating . But with the way the laws are you would be the one in jail.

If I were you I would check the local pawn shops , thats where I found my CD player and CD's when they were stolen.

Good Luck

That really sucks. When I was 14 I got a new tackle box, lures, fillet knife for my birthday and it was stolen from our campsite. I still remember how bad I felt! Hopefully insurance will cover you.

That sucks steve some of us have also had gear stolen in the past and it's a horrible feeling. Hopefully your insurance companie will be generous and quick however everyone knows that's rarely the case.
