Same for me...sure I've had it happen but I've caught tons of pike - even some decent sized toothy ones while jigging eyes with leaderless mono. If I deliberately decide to target pike I will opt for a 12" black wire leader, but I don't stay home for lack of leaders.Manny wrote: I will even go further by saying that break-offs were actually rare.

Only used Fluro once (with Hoser) not a fair comparison cuz the eye's were off that day (day after that massive tropical rainstorm last summer). I'll be trying it as a leader for eye's this season.
