Favourite Outing(s) with a Fish-Hawker

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Only have one outing under the belt with some Hawkers. That was last fall when I met up with FF, John and Hoser on the St.Lawrence. John caught me this nice carp and let me hold it so I could take credit for it and get the points for the Screaming Reels, and have a beautiful false fishing story and picture to share with others for the rest of my life. I love cheating.

You see, I got to reel in this 18lb golden water cow, but he brought the corn, the rigs, the know-how and the net. If only every outing paid off like that... just wake up, show up, have a personal guide and pro carper do everything, have a great time, catch a fish and leave. If only FF could have done the same  :P (ouch sorry bud... right square in the kiwis was that blow eh?? ... you'll school me later I'm sure)

Thanks guys for not telling the gang here that I'm a deaf mute (that's communicatively challenged for the sissies  ... I mean sensitive  ) and that you really enjoyed my range of grunting noises and the charades we played together.

Thank god for text... until the next meeting my fine Hawk friends.

I recall them all being great. Not fair to ask this question as I have slept since then.

Only solution, fish with everyone again.
(and you know who you are ... thanks guys!!!!)

wolfe's note is self-explanatory. I am looking forward to fishing with wolfe and TT this year . I also want to get in some fishing with other hawk-talkers . I don't care what kind of fish or for how long. can be from shore in a boat . here in town or at my lake.

Memories...

:) My favourite Mamories... er, memories of fishing with Hawk-Talkers.

Well, there was Topwater at Petrie this February... A load of fun. Freaking cold, but loads of fun none the less.

Skooter on Lake Simcoe in a -35c blizzard... One of us was warm.

And my personal favourite was RJ picking me up from a Ottawa hotel after a business meeting to "slay" the Perch on the Rideau... (Now you know why I said no pictures huh RJ? )

It's only just begun...
