Hey chris,

the Round Lake I'm talking about is on old highway 62 which is now regional road 58. It's up near Algonquin Park. I know there are a few Round Lakes in the province.

the one i mentioned has the Bonnechere river running close by,
round lake centre is the name of the town i believe. great pics and report none the less. :)

Well, sounds like the same place. It's part of the Bonnechere River system. Yes, Round Lake Centre is the community on the lake (across from where our cottage is). Closest place with a real grocery store is Killalloe.
