Very common bite for trout, not only for steelhead's but for small trout's as well
If you do not use worm blower marshmallow is used to lift worm from the bottom. I use marshmallow as an bite choice during the fall/spring for Steelheads and small creeks/lakes
They come in many different colours and tastes . I have found yellow and red as the best performers

i fished port hope for years with small marshmellows, mostly for salmon and lakers but we do get quite a few browns and rainbows so it realy doesn't surprise me, but its nice to hear the young lads are getting nice fish to!
