Here's a second pic of that 54 musky

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hello Mr Fordson

First off, CONGRATULATIONS on your fish - she (almost all of the BIG ones are female) is an impressive trophy and it's great to hear she's still swimming in the river somewhere

If it's any help for future trophies, if you get a good measure of her length and girth, you can go to the Muskies Canada website (www.muskiescanada.ca) and use a table of measurements to get a pretty good idea of her weight. There are a number of other websites that have the same information as well.

Best of luck for the remainder of the season!

Now that is definitely a better fish and she is a pig. Big girth on her. Id say mid 40s at least.

Glad to see people with positive responses today, that is what you deserve.

Congrats once again.

And Wolfe I was going to jump all over the Peeing into the wind thing but thought maybe K-pin would see it and be drawn out of hibernation.

Yep, what a show!

I can't catch a musky, and don't have the equipment too nor the propor release tools to do so, but if something like that were to ever smack my line  It is a very fat fish Fordson.

Hey Fordson, that is a beauty fish and I am pleased to see a sensible response this time around to your thread. 8) I won't call it a fish of a lifetime because I know it is just a benchmark for you to strive for a new personal best.
Congratulations and good luck with the next monster waiting to be caught.
