This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I was at Peter White on the weekend, the ice varied from 8-13 inches with-in 20 meters of shore. The fish however were not cooperating, only a few small ones caught.

It turns out my ice fishing season has been extended.

I'm driving up Friday morning to Hay River, NWT.

It's about a 10 hour drive from my place to the shores of Great Slave Lake.

I'll be taking my fishing stuff with me and a camera of course.

I'll keep you guys updated on my return.

hooold up.
Im at work all day, not at one of those cozy desk jobs in front of a computer to defend myself here against (Im gonna pull the cord off his sled)

Certain lodge owner grabs the auger and tears the cord off it while im in the hut trying to fight off last evenings festivites
Then he says no problem got the same auger Ill fix it, gets on his sled and drives over my tipup :? Next day comes by to tell hes gonna let me fix it and steps on my fishn rod. :x

Just another gong show.

At least I fixed it for you 8)

Hey Mike, you forgot to mention the part about the same Lodge owner coming into the ice shack to watch me pull a laker up and ends up stepping on your rod    ......it definately was the gong show...I still have visions of his wife standing outside in the freezing cold with her house coat and slippers on the last night before we left
