Fishing in front of homes & cottages

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

When someone goes out of their way to interfere with your lawful fishing/hunting activities they are breaking the law & calling for a CO to enforce the law is an option.

Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 1997
S.O. 1997, CHAPTER 41

This is the most current consolidation of this law available on e-Laws.

PART II
HUNTING, TRAPPING, FISHING AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

General Restrictions

Obstruction of hunting, trapping or fishing

13. (1) A person shall not interfere with lawful hunting, trapping or fishing by,

(a) tampering with traps, nets, bait, firearms or any other thing used for hunting, trapping or fishing;

(b) placing himself or herself in a position, for the purpose of interfering, that hinders or prevents hunting, trapping or fishing; or

(c) engaging in an activity, for the purpose of interfering, that disturbs or is likely to disturb wildlife or fish.

Now that I am soon to be a waterfront owner my thoughts have not changed. I won't care if they fish my waterfront with respect.

This means no hitting my dock, lift or boat etc etc and even more unapropriate language is also a no no as some kids may be an earfull away.

But now if someone dares casting and lord help them catching muskies on my waterfront then that's a different story.

I replied saying that I didn't particularly enjoy seeing an overweight shirtless man where I was fishing but that some things are beyond our control.
I gotta say, that made me laugh, too. Quite the colorful writing, bl8ant; you should take a creative writing course. It might lead to a career.

I do enjoy writing Wolf—thanks.

It didn't end so well hookup. He had his chest puffed out and was waddling around hands on hips huffing and puffing like a threatened penguin. Telling him that I recognized him from his big screen debut on "March of the Penguins" was lost as was my questioning if his actions were part of a mating call.

Later he threatened to put out his diving buoy, educating me on how far away I'd have to stay if I was to abide by the law... At that point the situation took a turn for the worse and I'll leave it at that.

Sometime you do things that you regret later in life, sometimes you do things that you know you should regret but don't. But I'm all grow'd up now.

My folks live on the Miss,

They couldn't give a fiddlers fart if you fish there...so long as my kids aren't in the water.....

Some people have REAL bad attitudes about this kind of thing. Best to ask BEFORE casting...

Can you really fish whilst arguing???
