Fishing the Kawartha lakes area

Looking for a little help...my family and I are thinking of renting a cottage for a couple of weeks this summer and we've narrowed it down to two choices...
The first cottage is located on Kasshabog Lake near Lakefield/Peterborough
The second cottage is located on Loon Lake near Gravenhurst
Any feedback or advice on these bodies of water in terms of fishing, cleanliness...etc. would be greatly appreciated
