Fish of 1 casts?

I have read this forum for a long time and posted a few times, so I know most of you guys don't know me but I though I would share my first Muskie story here.

Well I headed out to Scugog this after noon and was looking for some bass but they just were not cooperating, so we decided we would try for the very first time to catch a muskie. So we troll for 2 minutes to a spot that looks promising and on my very first cast I caught my very first muskie. He was just a little guy, maybe 28" and 6 or 7 lbs, but now I am hooked. What a fight for a little guy, 3 or 4 good jumps where we was all the way out of the water. Caught him on a white glass husky jerk. I will certainly be targeting muskie again later this season. Thanks to everyone who offered advice and expetise on this board.

That's great! Seems you are off to a good start with your pursuit of muskies. Any pic's of your 1st??

The muskey on the bog turned right on this weekend. Glad to hear that you got into one. Not to hard to get hooked on these airrial machines. For the bass sittuation try a Brown Jig & Pig with a craw claw trailer It seemed to work great for me this past weekend, in the slop or flippen docks it always produces on scugog.
