Something To Watch Out For

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Stories like this one

Post by Jimmy »

I think we all have stories like that (well maybe not that severe!)
My daughter pulled on her snagged line.. and I could see the treble hooks of a 4inch spoon heading at me! 2 hooks of the treble lodged right into my cheek. Luckily my dad (their grandfather ) was there to dislodge the hooks with minimal damage to the skin!... Fortunate no eye damage(which is good cause I only have sight in one eye as it is)

I definatley did not consider that spoon "lucky"!

I won't fish without glasses of some kind on.
Even if I don't need the sun glasses I've got
a pair of lite weight safety glasses that I put
on.Get some weird looks andcomments but
rather that than losing an eye! Accidents can
happen at any time!
