maps

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I too have looked for back lake maps, and have found many good ones for fishing purposes that show shoals, depths etc. However,I was told that you will not get navigation maps for a body of water unless it is actually a navigable route such as the Rideau or Trent system, as well as the Great Lakes. Not sure but maybe if the Coast Guard can't get to it by water then the government doesn't make the map that detailed??? I could be wrong though,it has happened before lol.
Thanks, johnjyb
