Rideau River Musky Report Nov 5 with Pic ***3 pics added!!**

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Rideau River Musky Report Nov 5 with Pic ***3 pics added!!**

Post by Seabreeze »

Hi Everyone,

I thought I was finished fishing for the year. Until Halloween night, talking to another Dad as we took our kids around trick or treating, he mentioned he would have his boat out another few weeks. I said if he needed a partner to let me know, he said how about Sunday??

Well, it was snowing when we set out. Cold wind picked up too, but we were determined to get some time in. We saw no fish, had no follows kept on trying and then boom. Corey said he had one on. It was fighting pretty good. When it got close enough for us to see it we were freaking out.  It was huge. Wouldn't fit in the net. Took all I had to reach down and lift it into the boat. What a beast, 51'' and 23'' around. Easily the biggest and fattest musky I've seen boated! Took some pictures and put it back to catch again another day. Congratulations Corey on your personal best trophy Musky!!!! :D :D

Lets get out again before the ice comes!!!

Not too far from your place in Osgoode. We spent the whole day between Manotick and the Kemptville Bridge.
