Fuel Gauge

Post by rickr »

My fuel gauge seems not work properly.
It already pointed to 1/2 (50%) on gauge. After fished for a while, I noticed it backed to 3/4 (75%).
I couldnt know how much gas in tank, because of inaccurate reading
Wonder if I need to replace it? or, if it has any sensor in gas tank which I can adjust?

Thanx

Start by checking the ground from your gauge then test the ground on the gas tank sender. If the grounds are good you can move the float up and dow and see the needle on the gauge move.
