Just to let Honda Outboard owners know there is a SAFETY RECALL on all Honda outboards BF15D prefix BALJ serial range 1000001-1402293
BF20D prefix BAMJ serial range 1000001-1403159
The recall concerns the fuel chamber and delivery sytem on the motor. The concern is that the fuel chamber may crack and spill fuel causing a fire hazard.
Please call your local Honda outboard dealer to have this work done at no charge to you. Please contac HONDA CANADA if a dealer is trying to charge you for the work. There are reports of this happenning.
There was an issue with kits not being available so call ahead to be sure. it is .5hr to do the work.
