Dick Bell park July 22

Good evening gents!!

Here is my 1st report. I decided to hit Dick Bell park for the 1st time ever. I was suggested that I try on the right hand side of the lighthouse. Which I did.

The bite was real slow when I arrived at 6:45. I managed 1 really small smallie. But around 8:15 the bite picked up and Bamm my 1st real good fish. It was a nice eye and I was able to bring it in to the shore but with no net it managed to throw the hook and off it went.

A few minutes later a real good hit. This time i wasn't going to let this one get away. I managed to get it on shore and to my surprised my best eye of the summer so far here is the pic

I managed to get a few more but i wasn't able to get them on shore for a pic. The next time i am going to make sure that i bring a net . I'm definatetly going back and thanks to my fellow hawkers for the advice.

Nice meeting you too Pikeman,
Glad to see that you liked the spot. The eye that you handed over to my friend was a nice fish man, it rang at 3 pounds which is very good for that place.
