Cedar lake, Algonquin park

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Cedar lake, Algonquin park

Post by Treble hook »

Hey all, Just wondering if anyone has fished this lake before. Heading there for a portage trip and I do not want to take a bunch of useless lures, if anyone knows whats a good bet let me know.

i did a portage trip through the algonquin park a few years ago... saw lots of trout but didn't get a chance to land anything... small spinners or flies would probably be the best option... very light line as the trout get spooky...

cedar lake is a big lake. lots of water to cover... check out north river lake. it's smaller and it's near cedar lake.
