Trout lakes for tubing

Does anyone know of any decent lakes for trout near ottawa that would be good for float tubing?- other than the bing retreat- it's the only one i already know. haven't been, but heard about it.

how far frome ottawa you are talking about..?

there is some good lakes on qc side..under 1.5h frome ottawa

There are a number of good lakes in the Calabogie and Lanark regions. Buy a Backroads Mapbook, print out the stocking lists, and do some exploring. Also, check out some of the previous posts over the last few years that mention some of the lakes.

Evan,

You should have just posted to the OFS members. We have our own float tube group that pretty much has a couple members on the water every weekend, and even mid-week sometimes.

And the best part....no border crossings. :roll:
