there alwAYS SOME FISHING BEFORE THEN...ITS NOT CLOSE NOW. :lol: PIKE AND WALLEYE IS OPEN.

and after you can always target cats and other species that is open.

cant wait to hit victoria this year..more then last year. :roll: :lol: .

Thanks but I think your reminding the wrong guys here BA. I do think Jason is thinking a bit ahead of himself here though, we still got spring crappies and bluegills to chase before that, my favorite :wink: :wink: :lol:

I love fishing for all the species at all times of the year, but I gotta agree with you, theres nothing better then the opening walleye weekend in the spring. We usually go up to the montreal river outside of New Liskard to our family cabin. We catch amazing pickeral and pike all weekend in the freezing cold rain!! worth every minute
