fly line clean and wax

fly line clean and wax

I have a reel spooled with sinking line and one with floating line, how do i clean the lines and what do I wax the lines with please??

I would recommend using Rio wonder cloth line cleaner. They also have a dressing you can apply to the line right after.

A little soap and warm water, along with a fly line cleaning pad is all you need to clean both lines.

Note: only apply line dressing to your floating line.

There are 2 types of line dressing, 1 for floating and 1 for sinking. I would recommend using a dressing on the sinking line. Just make sure you use the proper type for the line
