How Much would you pay??

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

How Much would you pay??

Post by Smitty »

Hi Guys and Girls

I think I found a boat...but I am wondering what I should offer the guy??

When I first started looking I wanted to spend around 10K - but I found this and it looks really nice.

I have checked the website that gives you the list value...but I want some opinions.

It is a 2000 Princecraft Pro Series 167 S/C - it has a 50HP Evinrude 4 stroke and galvanized trailer - Garmin fish finder with speed indicator - however there is no trolling motor - but it does come with the battery for one....it also has 2 covers.

I am not sure how to post pictures - but if someone can PM me I will send them some pictures to post of it.

The guy is asking 13,000.

Let me know what you think

thanks
Sam

:) Sounds like a fair price to me..if thats the asking price he may take a little less. I paid around that for the 16.5 legend with 50 hp merc 4 stroke with similar options.. just had two electric down riggers as well..

Sam, I agree with Salmon that the price is not out of line. I have a 96 162 pro series with a 02 50hp 4st. and I could get 10-11,000 for it no problem. I wish I had the 167 as my kids are getting big fast and the extra room would be a great help. You'll love the motor and boat, smooth as silk. If he's asking 13,000 try offer him 12 and see where it goes from there.

Sam, sorry I don't know how to post pic's yet but if you go to www.princecraft.com they have archives section with previous years models. I'm on my fourth boat and highly recommend Princecraft. Hope this helps and happy boat buying.
