Rideau Falls Advice

Post by alctel »

I have been twice now to Rideau Falls, for a total of about 6-8 hours and haven't even had a nibble, so I am wondering where I am going wrong? I fish from the bit of rocky shore to the right of the falls that you get to via the tiny little road.

I have tried worms, crankbait, spinners and tubes but nothing! I don't really mind what I catch, as long as I get something.

I hear a fair number of people have success there, so I was wondering if you wouldn't mind, what works for you?

alctel.

I lived two blocks from there for four years and never did well from that location from shore. If you relocate to the section just above the falls in the public access (in the evening...west side) you will have much better success...between the old bridge tressels and the falls   . Tell me how you do!
