First Kayak Trip.

So today I tried kayak fishing for the first time. It was my third outing in the new kayaks I just bought but the first time with my rod. I went to Constance lake for A few he's of more paddling then fishing but I managed to land some pike and the odd largemouth.

Nothing spectacular with the pike all hammer handles but fun none the less. Sadly no photos as I don't have a water proof case for my phone and don't trust not to ruin it yet haha. I know that I'm now hooked on yet another kind of fishing.

It's great isn't it! I got my first kayak this year, and I love it. Haven't caught much yet, other than an oos musky, but it's a ton of fun.

The must be a movement going on; first year with my kayak too. Only been out once so far but going tomorrow (and possibly a short run later today).

Great fun and an awesome way to get to the fish.

Awesome I'm headed to the park this week on my day off.
Its outstanding. I'm excited to not be stuck to shore now haha.
