Anyone fish kipawa lake this time of year?

Headed to kipawa lake this week, never been!!! Looking for fishing info for
Walleye and Lakers? What works at this time of year? Depths? Colours?
Staying in the area of ile corbeau/dead bear bay.

Looking for any maps that may help me out!!!

I’m assuming the red circles and x’s are marked locations in which fish were caught?

Those red x's are all hazards, with the high water yet some of them may not be an issue at all. I highly suggest you join and spend a few hours checking out the Kipawa forums, there is a ton of info there, members are very willing to help out. http://kipawafishingforum.net/index.php TBone has a recent post asking for tips for his spring trip this year.
Make sure you get acquainted with the required fillet method up there for Walleye.

Be aware that there is a sanctuary up towards Turtle chute that will still be in effect but the shorelines just outside that zone should be good.
Are you camping or staying at Alwaki? If at Alwaki Brian will be able to help you out.
Look for boats anchored in the evening will give you an idea of structure that holds Walleye. Kelly bay is a good spot for early season. Sandbank will likely be busy as well but a good evening spot to troll or jig. Hunters Narrows is worth trying.
Dead Bear bay is a good early morning run for Lakers. Anywhere from just past the shortcut and past Corbeau and then around the island is good anytime.
