What would you buy?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I like speed so I'd go with the 21' Stroker that I found on Google a while back. It's got a Rolls Royce Allison Turbine mated to a Merc 2.5 EFI offshore. It was supposed to set a bass boat speed record but not sure if it ever did.

More realistically though I'd be happier than a pig in the slop with a model year Ranger or Skeeter in the 19 - 21 foot range, full jam with at least a 200hp on the back.

Good thread... now ya got me dreamin again. :D

g unis,
Taira's are sweet rides, I have been/fished on a few - I know 3 people that own them. If I was to get a dream boat it would have to be a Luhr's, Hatteras, tiara or phonix sportfisherman....something 41'+.
I saw a new tiara 4300 open 2 years ago at a boat show ....WOW that was a ride.
