Lake Description:
Lake Simcoe is located approximately 60km north of the City of Toronto. It is part of the Trent Severn Waterway connecting Lake Ontario to Georgian Bay and is southern Ontario's largest body of water excluding the Great Lakes.

Smallmouth bass, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, Lake Trout, Whitefish.

lake trout in kempenfelt bay

I used to live near Barrie, which is located on the west end of Kempenfelt bay.
The kempenfelt bay gets down to 300 feet at some points!! The main basin of the lake is great for lake trout and whitefish also, some of the best jumbo perch fishing on the continent can be found in Simcoe also, Big Bay point is a great spot for Jumbo's.
