I haven't been back since the incident  
  ....  but I drove by one day a few weeks back, heading the back-roads to Renfrew ... and there were two dock set up. So, it looks like may be it has been fixed up.....

There used to be a cement pad in the water with some metal grating down to the waters edge's.
The ice tossed the cement up onto shore over the winter/spring breakup. They put the docks in but it's just sand right into the water. Smaller boats will be O.K but I think it would be a problem to pull out a larger boat. I'll give it a try in the next few weeks.
