Braeside Launch

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I haven't been back since the incident  .... but I drove by one day a few weeks back, heading the back-roads to Renfrew ... and there were two dock set up. So, it looks like may be it has been fixed up.....

Launched from there Saturday morning and it was ok. Gravel pretty much down to the water. I don't know what it was like before though.

Was a busy launch site on Saturday actually, lots of vehicles.

There used to be a cement pad in the water with some metal grating down to the waters edge's.

The ice tossed the cement up onto shore over the winter/spring breakup. They put the docks in but it's just sand right into the water. Smaller boats will be O.K but I think it would be a problem to pull out a larger boat. I'll give it a try in the next few weeks.

Kert,

Good to hear because a couple weeks ago thought I was going to sink the van in the new gravel.
