We went out with Jamie Stothart of G2 Angling.
The area we were fishing had a good 6" of black ice with a dusting on snow in the morning that turned into 4-5" of snow by the end of the day. We had a decent morning bite, caught a couple throughout the day, and a few more during the afternoon bite. We moved to different depths throughout the day trying to stay on fish. By the end of the day between the 5 of us we caught around 14 walleye of various sizes, 3 nice perch and 1 surprize. Near the end of the day I hooked into a nice hard fighting fish that pulled some decent drag, I thought I had a real hawg walleye!!!!! After a good fight, I gain line and as the fish approaches the hole and I am picturing my pb 15 pound walleye about to be landed, a great big sheephead comes into view

Here are a few photos...

Maple's 10 pound eye
