WOW.. What a fish, and what a fight!!

Sleded and I did the rounds today, put our time in with some cutbait.. lo and behold I caught a 20lb catfish!! What a BEAST!!! All I can say is WOW. Full report to come later, but I won't keep you waiting.. Here's a pic:

Thanks Sleded for netting and photographing this beast and I'm just glad to say that she's still out there swimming to bite another day!! :D

Either way.....10 pounds....or 20 pounds.....it's a great cat!

Well the spring scale said close to 20 but either way it was huge!!

Length was 30 inches even

She was a beaut of a channel cat thats for sure. Rich had his hands full with that baby!! I hope to land a big girl like that this year!!!

That is a sweet cat Rich. I can't wait to see how excited you get when you catch a 20 pounder! :wink:

On a serious note, I recomend investing in a good scale. 2 years ago I thought I was catch pretty decent bass. I got frustrated with guys telling me the fish were smaller than i thought they were. Turns out my scale sucked.

I'm gonna try out a few of my favorite spots for cats this week. Maybe we can hook up.
