This pike was caught Monday in the St lawerence, near Johnstown.

Was in the Recorder & Times Lastnight.

Poor picture--can't really see the size of it. Would have been nice if it was held so that you could a better idea of the size.---regardless though, yes 25lbs. is nice !!!

That's another example why the St. Lawrence is not the St. Lawrence, necessarily... :shock:

The Eastern regions have some jumbo pike and smallmouth. The Western portion has smaller pike, smaller smallmouth, but beats the east end all to heck when it comes to largemouth.

The eastern end has smaller daytime biting walleye; the west end large nighttime biting walleye.

It would be lovely to have some of the lunker pike spread down my way, not to mention numbers of big smallies.
