My First Post from Work

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

My First Post from Work

Post by steve-hamilton »

Dont start for another five minutes....

Yesterday i started my first job (outside of a tackle shop, reffering hockey, and delivering newspapers)...

As i mentioned, i'm working in an insurance company, after not finding a job for three years in computers...

I'm Mon-Fri, 9-5, so the reports will be few and far between, BUT, the owner already told me to take his kids fishing four or five times this summer, on a weekday, and he'll give me my normal pay....

Getting paid to go fishing... adda go Steve! Congrats on the job too! Trying to find a job is never a walk in the park. And at least you got weekends off, not too shabby.

Awesome man!!! Now if only I could convince my boss that fishing is more important than golf I'd be set too!

that'll work. we started talking about music, and going to concerts... i mentioned i've seen the dead a bunch of times, as well as phish...he kinda gave me a look...

but things are going very well...almost done day three...

ITS MUCH EASIER THAN SCHOOL!!!!

you just do the same sorta things over and over....no real new learning experiences or challenges...

school, everyday you need to not only learn something new, but understand it, and prepare to be tested on it....

although the jury is still out, and the verdict isn't in, but i'm liking this work stuff...
