where are you going bass opener?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I'll get a week head start on the US side. Going to fish Butterfield Lake near Theresa NY between Alex Bay and Watertown.

You guys from Ottawa/Kemptville aren't too far from Black Lake. Gets you a week head start.

Txs Larry, knew it was around the corner, just wasn't sure when exactly. I think the little lady tossed away my fishing guide, thinking it would somehow curb the fishing. Hahahahahahahaha! Not likely.

We'll be away for the opener in Sask, but when we get back the Headpond for smallies will probably be first, followed shortly by Appleton, White and Clayton in no particular order...
There are few problems in life which can not be solved with a well-placed, high-explosive projectile.

Opener

Post by FatRap »

Well, we ( DMo, PoozyMo and JBird ) will be sitting on Wollaston Lake opening weekend. If all goes well for Fathers day , PoozyMo will be cooking on a new Turkey deep fryer. Mmmmm , Turkey Saturday followed by Bass on Sunday.

Pics to follow.

I'll be fishing out of Rockland on Friday.

This is one of the few perks of working in Quebec. It is St-Jean Baptiste day (a stat holiday in PQ), but all you blockheads in Ontario have to go to work. :P

Haven't decided on a partner yet. As they day draws closer and if butts aren't in the seats, I'll let yas know.

I'll be heading to Lac la Peche most likely on Opening weekend...maybe a bit of the Rideau too if my boat has arrived and it works and everything *laughs*

Long weekend I'm heading to Toronto, so I'll be searching for some smallies and maybe a few trout on the Credit...
