Buying a GPS tonight...need some advice..

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

something i was always curious about can you use the GPS and a fishfinder and create depth maps.... and if so are you looking at the 600 dollar range?

well, as i said, with tax, and all said and done, with the chip and the unit, it was already 600...

they had almost a dozen units with the fish graph and GPS combo....

unfortunately (but not really, as i love it), i bought the Fishmark 320 fishfinder, last year....

Handheld GPS

Post by Seaweed »

If you can afford it I would take a serious look at the Megallian Marine unit.

It looks like the best fishing handheld out there.

I like the Rino 120 also if you want to have a handheld FRS radio too.
