Biggest Crappie youve ever seen?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Awsome crappie bud, my biggest was through the ice, no measurments, or weights, but atleast 6 people told me she was pushin if not over 2lbs :?:

Ate a 5"minnow while tip-up'in for pike on Constance lake.

You all saw Sleded's 15 inch + out of Area 51 this winter. That was the biggest Canadian crappie I've ever seen, besides maybe one other one that was close to the same size many years back.

A couple years ago on the Mississippi we somehow dropped our ice shack onto crappie central. 13-14.5" were common with a couple in the 15-15.5" range.

As far as I'm concerned anything 14"+ = HAWG.

Those are some nice Crappie for sure. Many years ago, before I even new what a Crappie was I was fishing with Scumking for pike. I was throwing a 5 of diamonds spoon and caught a 2lb or better Crappie. Scumking new what it was and didn't even know they were in his lake. Not sure if he ever caught another one there!
