How deep did you have to go in this weather? I'm starting musky fishing but had no luck...you can't say I haven't tried...Any tips would be appreciated..

Fish are kind of everywhere, some caught trolling in 5 feet and others trolling in 18 feet. Casting this time of year is still pretty shallow but big fish like deep water nearbye. Just yesterday I got a 35 incher within the first 5 minutes casting a topwater in 5 FOW and our second fish later that afternoon came trolling believers in 18 FOW.

Markus a lot are caught on spinnerbaits as always but casting jerkbaits and trolling crankbaits have their time and place.

Now that kind of porn IS a turn on!

I was casting for tiger muskies a few days ago and had no luck. I was between 5 and 13'. Relic suggested going deeper. Makes sense on account of the heat this summer, but then you're finding them as shallow as 5', too. So go figure!

Beautiful fish; thx for sharing the pics. That kid must have been thrilled; he'll have a tough personal best to beat now!
