Well I was down about 3-4 days ago fishing by carelton U and had really great success. With the water soo low I was almost able to walk as far as bronson. I was using beaded head hares ears and was nailing the smallies alot were around 10-14inches which were some of the biggest i have ever caught there. Also I got a largie around a pound and a half on a egg sucking leech.
To top off the day I was bringin in about a 8 inch smallie when a 8-10lb muskie came up an hit it. So I set the hook and ended up hooking it in the side of the face. I geusse cuz he only had half the fish in his mouth. Shortly after i lost it when it was head shaking because the line got caught in his mouth.
all in all a great evening!!

Sounds like a good time!
Good job on the bass. As for the Muskie? I've also met with him/her.... I swear I'm gonna name it soon! Ate my rockbass at Bronson... ate my Smallmouth at Carelton.... went through my friends net while fishing a spinning rod with a Shad Rap last Wednesday....Hope to catch mesure and release the big guy sometime soon. BTW... I've had luck with sometype of fly with a spinner on it(got it a Green Drake and lost it when the muskie at my bass), and floresent green wooly buggers. My biggest was 17inch... it's the biggest caught at Carelton and the biggest fish I've caught on a fly... EVER!
Good luck,
UF
