What a day!!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

What a day!!!!

Post by fishmaster »

Javelin and I went for a fish today to do a little pre-fishing for a upcoming tourney that he is in. We didn't expect much considering the cold front conditions that we were faced with but the fish came thru. We caught many fish ranging in size from 12inches up to 18.5 inches including a 4.5lber and a 4lber. We didn't stay in spots for long because we didn't want to ruin his spots or else we could have an even better day. Here are some pics.

4lber (that's mine)[/img]http://www.fish-hawk.net/gallery/displa ... ?pos=-3583

Great looking fish, Fishmaster!! You can always rely on smallies (especially the deep girls) when a cold front moves through...
Way to go..

Hey DV8 thanks for the help. I'd appreciate it if you could send me a PM with the exact instructions on how you did that. The first pic was the biggest fish of the day it weighed 4.5 on the digital scale. It was 18.5 inches and it was unbelievably fat(almost obese) The fish in the second pic weighed 4.0 on the scale and it was just as fat. All the fish we caught were as full as I have ever seen and they were spitting up crayfish like crazy. The water has cooled down the last couple days and I think they are putting on the feed bags. Thanks again for the help. :D Hey Justin thanks for the comments, these fish were actually shallow though, between 7&10 fow. We were kind of suprised with that because we really didn't expect to find them there. :?

You just had your img tags messed up.

Your opening tag should be like the [img]You're%20closing%20tag%20should%20have%20the%20/%20first,%20then%20the%20IMG%20-%20like%20this[/img] Paste you're URL address between them and you've got it. :P

great looking fish there guys. You should come to the weigh in Sat fishmaster as you would probably see a 6+ smallie as there was in the last 2 tournaments. I will be going there tomorrow to prefish for this same tourney. Will report but not sure if my camera will work yet.
