Well, a little progress made.
Finally got the right trailer for the big boat.
It came in a round about way. Wound up buying Gordo's old fish n ski. It had way more trailer than the boat needed, so I'm gonna move that boat over to a smaller trailer and sell it later, once I give it a shake down, and figure out what donnor parts I may need.

Thanks Gordo. :D

Will post again once I get the boat moved over to the trailer.

:D :D :D

Good luck on your project there MT..... :D

Just a thought, ......if you're goin for the pedestal seating, ......get the kind with a detachable base...

The bases are only 30 bucks or so, .....(with taxes  )

you can stick them where ever you want, .....as they're not in the way, then just buy 2 or 3 seats with the pedestal, ....and you can switch them around to wherever you want them at the time, ..... 8)

they're also handy for mounting planner board masts, .....just stay the hell off of "erie" on rough days.....

good luck bud......

Why not mount the fish and ski motor on the 20 footer?

I may, but it has not tilt and trim, and may have a possible hiccup at higher revs.
But that may happen.

Yes,thats my custom shield,42 inches high. Plexiglass and heat guns,2 work better used at the same time. Clamp Plexiglas onto table with 9 inch hanging on table, heat at the table edge with horizontal strokes of the gun,do not hold on one spot as bubbles will occur. The weight of the glass will pull down as it warms up,I used very slight pressure to push it to a 45 degree angle. Reversed it and did the other side. I cracked the first one,be careful with pressure. Once I got 3 sides,I used a band saw to cut the angles I wanted for looks and profile. It is connected to a piano hinge for laydown during travel. You can see the hatch pins I use to lock it in position,a pull of the cord releases the pins. Made this just for Quinte, works great.

Got a little work done this afternoon.

Managed to get Gordo's old boat off of the trailer. Had to tie tie it to a tree to slide it off and then put some tires underneath it to keep it from getting grass stains.

This boat will be coming up for sale shortly for a song. I can believe the quality of wiring in this boat, all 4 and 6 gauge and welder grade professional wire and connectors.
The bad news folks, I took the minn kota off her already. :D Nice unit, a little under powered (42 lbs thrust), but it has a super long shaft and auto-pilot plus a remote (radio) foot pedal. Might be a great alternative to a kicker in the short term, and maybe long term (go fig, who ever heard of using a trolling motor for trolling).

Here is a look at the trailer naked.

I have moved the winch and jack up to make room for the big boat. Just gonna grease her up and make some arrangement to hook up with BTS hopefully next weekend.

Will keep yas posted.

(p.s. I don't know how tough it is to mount a trolling motor, but it's a buggar to remove one :? )

I figure she'll be a little tongue heavy coming home, but shouldn't be too bad. Biggest problem is there is no motor on the back to off set the weight at the nose.

Now I need more blocks so I can prop a few more non-running vehicles.
